Pro Football Survivor is an app that helps you run and participate in Survivor-style, fantasy football leagues.Survivor leagues are simpler than standard fantasy football leagues because they don't require a lot of time associated with drafts and setting lineups. Simply choose a winning team during each week of the Pro Football season and survive. If your selected team loses, you are eliminated. If you miss a deadline, the App attempts to assign an eligible team automatically. Each team may normally be selected only once during a league. The last surviving Player wins, subject to the league’s tiebreak and re-entry rules.

Why Pro Football Survivor Is DifferentPro Football Survivor (PFS) app allows for one free organized league and any number of joined leagues. The in-app "Pro" subscription allows you to organize up to 10 leagues and have up to 500 players per league. Pro will also enable league re-entry configuration and remove Ads.The app provides more flexibility over league creation and settings. The Organizer may disable re-entry or allow each Player one re-entry. Re-entry can be configured so Players must make either one or two winning picks during the week after re-entry.PFS allows for leagues to be deleted before "locking" but not after. A regular-season league cannot be deleted after it locks for competition. Each week, once the pick deadline has passed, Players can view one another’s picks and standings. If all remaining Players lose during a week before the end of the season, Players with identical re-entry histories advance together. If their histories differ, only Players who have never used a re-entry advance. All Players who survive through the final regular-season week are considered winners (they tie). Create a League

Enter League name, join code, choose starting week, and establish the pick deadline. Picks lock each week after this deadline time.The Organizer may configure a league to allow one re-entry per Player and select the final week when re-entry is permitted. After elimination, an eligible Player may request re-entry, which the Organizer may approve or reject.The Organizer also determines whether one or two correct picks are required during the first week after an approved re-entry. When two picks are required, they must come from different games. If the Player survives that week, subsequent weeks return to one required pick.

Frequently Asked QuestionsQ. Does the app take league entry fees into account?
A. No. The app is intended for entertainment purposes only. Any fees collected from Players for the purposes of prizes are handled offline by the Organizer.Q. When does a league stop accepting new players?
A. A league stops accepting new players when the first game of its starting week begins or when its first pick deadline passes, whichever happens first. After joining closes, existing players may continue choosing from games that have not started until the league’s pick deadline. Join codes and invitation links cannot be used to add another account after joining closes.Q. Can I change my pick?
A. You can change your pick up until the pick deadline chosen by the Organizer and clearly shown in the league settings screen. The deadline can be either before all games start or some time after that.Q. What happens if a game has already started, say on Thursday, and the pick deadline is Sunday morning?
A. Games that have already started will be locked out from picking and only games that have not yet started will be available for picking. Make sure you get your picks in early to avoid auto-pick or elimination.Q. What happens if I miss my pick and the deadline has passed?
A. The App will attempt to assign you a random eligible team automatically. To be eligible, the team must be playing in the current week, must not have been used previously by you, and its game must not have started.
Automatic picks may be processed up to approximately five minutes after the deadline. A game that begins during that interval will no longer be eligible.
If no eligible team remains, you lose active status. If re-entry is enabled and you remain eligible, you may request re-entry for the following week. Otherwise, you are eliminated. To avoid an automatic pick or elimination, submit your pick early.Q. How does the re-entry feature work?
A. The league Organizer can set up a league to allow re-entries. If re-entries are allowed (one per Player/league) the Organizer determines whether one or two correct picks are needed in the first week after re-entry. The Organizer also chooses a cutoff date for re-entries. If a Player is eliminated, he/she may request a re-entry by Wednesday at noon. The Organizer then can reject or approve the re-entry based on whatever offline arrangement the league has. The Organizer's deadline to approve is Wednesday at 7:00 PM. If approved, the Player then chooses either one or two (Organizer-configured) winners in the following week of competition. If the Player survives that week, subsequent weeks will only require one winning team pick.Q. What happens if every remaining Player loses in the same week?
A. If the Players have identical re-entry histories, they all advance. If their histories differ, only Players who have never used a re-entry advance. If that leaves one Player, that Player wins.
This rule is applied before determining the result of the final regular-season week. After it is applied, all Players who remain are declared co-winners, regardless of re-entry history.Q. Does the app cover the post-season?
A. No. The competition lasts for the regular season only.Q. What happens if a Player deletes their account?
A. If the Player deletes the account before the league begins accepting competition results, the Player is removed from the league. If any game in the league’s starting week has already begun, the account is deleted but the Player’s league history is retained anonymously to preserve picks, standings, and results. The Player cannot use a new account to rejoin after the league’s joining period has closed.Q. What happens if an Organizer deletes their account?
A. Organized leagues that have not started are deleted. Active competitions continue, and the former Organizer’s competition history is retained anonymously. For an active league with re-entry enabled, the Organizer must select another Player to become the new Organizer when one is available. If no successor is available, eligible re-entry requests are approved automatically. Completed leagues remain available for their normal retention period.Q. Can a Player game the system by creating a new account with a new email and re-entering before a league locks but after they were already eliminated because
they chose the wrong team in an early game during the first week of competition?
A. No. To avoid this from happening, all players must join a league before the kickoff of the first game of the first week of competition.Q. Can a Player join multiple times using multiple accounts BEFORE the league joining period closes?
A. This is possible. To help prevent this, the Organizer has the ability to "Close Joining" in League Settings once all intended invitees have joined.Q. Can I organize one league while playing in another?
A. Yes. Organizers are assumed to be playing in their own league and can participate in other leagues.Q. What happens if an NFL game ends in a tie or is postponed or cancelled?
A. Each league has a setting that determines whether an NFL tie counts as a loss or allows the Player to survive. If a selected game is postponed or suspended into a future week, cancelled, or rescheduled into another NFL week, the Player survives that pick.Q. What happens if there is an error that results in an incorrect elimination?
A. Game information is obtained from third-party sources and may be delayed or corrected.
